Today I am on Grand Ave visiting my favorite letterpress printer @hazelandviolet.

Did you know I also design and print for weddings?

I highly recommend letterpress printed invitations from Nancy, and work closely with her to design beautiful invitations for couples in The Valley and actually all around the US (and today Canada). 🇨🇦

Anyways, I was down visiting the letterpress shop today and meeting up with a bride to deliver all her wedding day signage that I just printed for her.

Walking around Grand Ave always inspires me and I am in love with the native plants and cactus 🌵 carefully placed here too.

Today is a BIG day for me.⁠

We'll see how it goes, but I am planning on cutting 10 INCHES of my hair off today.⁠

It's been too long for TOO LONG.⁠
⁠
I love my long hair, but I think it's become more troublesome now that I am getting more active and running almost every day.⁠
⁠
I also feel like I am going through a personal transformation and feel like it's just the right time to switch it up.⁠

My haircut might not end up looking much different, but I am nervous.⁠
⁠
Honestly in the past, I've been afraid to cut my hair too much because my husband likes it long... well this time it's ALL FOR ME.⁠

I am going to cut it (I am sure he'll still like it), but I want to do this just for me.⁠

This is what I am saying to myself... it's just a haircut, and hair grows back, but it's time to put myself and what I want—100% first.⁠

Rejection. Failure. Cancer.⁠ ALL THE THINGS.⁠

My doctor said cancer to my face two days before my 35th birthday. (Just 4 months ago)⁠

Now what?⁠!⁠

It's still very much there and something I am learning about daily, BUT...⁠

God is with me and I know this more than ever.⁠

One thing this experience has taught me so far is why do I FEAR anything?⁠
⁠
Even in the lowest place, God is there.⁠
⁠
He is taking me in His hands and planning on doing good work with me.⁠
⁠
So I am ready to go now... I have put it off for too long and I am ready to shine brighter than ever and share myself more with others. ⁠

I don't want to FEAR ALL THE THINGS ANYMORE.⁠

Life is too short and I have something special that God has blessed me with to share with others.⁠
