🎵 We’re bringing sexy, I mean, QR code’s back! 🎵

If you asked me to put a QR code on some marketing material a few years ago, I would say 2005 wants their QR code back.

QR codes were a nice idea, but the user interaction at the time was so flawed. People didn’t just have QR code readers downloaded for the ready, so it was NOT saving people any time.

Now....most phone cameras have the capability to read a QR code. So no extra download is needed. I am considering Whether this can be useful now for quick information, or still an ugly trend that doesn’t stick.

I do! These are some of the wonderful blossoms (and a little fruit bouquet) I received after my dad passed.

The friends and family who sent them to me are so special in my heart because they knew exactly what I needed to lift my spirit and remember the great relationship I had with my dad and with all my loved ones who still surround me. 💕

I posted some of these pics before, but I want to send thanks again 🙏🏼 to the people who are in my life.

#throwbackthursday Swipe to see my very first business card for MakeJoy Studio. They were a two-color run on the letterpress that I printed myself while I was interning @hazelandviolet .

Looking back at them now, I still love them, but my new cards for 2020 show a little more grown-up sophistication —More reflective of my current style I offer my high-end design clients.

My new cards are clean and simple, but they still have that element of JOY that my very first card did.

It’s been a minute. What a crazy world we live i

It’s been a minute. What a crazy world we live in right now. I don’t know about you, but I am working hard on surviving it all.

I lost my dad in all of this COVID-19 nonsense. But today I am choosing to honor my dad by pushing forward. He instilled at an early age to work for myself. I hear his voice now, teaching me the advantages of hard work and leverage.

I also hear God in heaven showing that my dreams can be made real, He makes things new, and all I need to do is ask him to continue blessing my life.

I hope this might encourage someone else out there who might feel broken. We are in charge of changing our situations for our selves, get creative, solve the problem, and accept God’s plans for us.

I am choosing to LIVE BRIGHTLY & SUCCEED GREATLY during the hardest time of my life. Who’s with me?!?

Please share with me one thing you are doing during these hard times to move yourself forward into greatness! We could all use some positive encouragement knowing we are in this together.
